This month, we're highlighting Affinity at DuPont, a 170-unit senior living community in DuPont, Washington, owned by Inland Group and managed by Axis Residential.
This September, Mereo Fiber completed a structured cabling and DIRECTV installation at the property as part of a new construction project. The community went live on September 11, 2026, ahead of the first resident move-ins on September 21.
The scope of work included structured cabling for data and DIRECTV services, covering the property network, emergency communication lines, and wireless deployment throughout the community. As a senior living community, reliable emergency lines and consistent coverage throughout the building are essential to residents' safety and well-being.
New construction projects demand speed, precision, and seamless coordination. From circuit delivery to client communication, our team kept every detail on track as go-live approached. After the primary circuit was handed over on September 9, the property was brought online just two days later. Mereo works hand in hand across design and engineering, procurement, construction, and project management to keep materials flowing and the installation moving at full speed. Crews mobilized in step with construction milestones, so each phase of work landed exactly when the build needed it. It is this level of execution that makes Mereo a powerhouse in new construction connectivity.
Close collaboration with project partners helped keep Affinity at DuPont on schedule and allowed the Mereo team to deliver every construction milestone on time. The installation was completed in about 13 weeks, resulting in a fully connected community ready for residents from day one. A 1 Gbps backup circuit is also in progress to provide added redundancy for the property moving forward.
